BIG BANG THEORY FINALE LANDS 18M VIEWERS: About 18 million tuned in to watch the finaland 279th episode—of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory Thursday night. The finale scored a 3.1 rating in the 18-49 demo group in its two-hour finale. The Big Bang Theory was the longest running multi-cam comedy in U.S. TV history, and managed to eke out the highest entertainment series in its final year in total viewers.
QUEER EYE STAR TO FRONT NETFLIX COMPETITION SERIES: Netflix and one of the stars of Queer Eye are teaming up for a 10-episode of Next in Fashion. Tan France is fronting the show along with Alexa Chung. Eva Chen and Elizabeth Stewart have signed on as guest judges. Next in Fashion will start with a pool of designers and eliminate them through a series of fashion challenges. Netflix says the 18 designers have worked for major brands and dressed A-list celebrities and are vying for a $250K prize.
DA’VINE JOY RANDOLPH & DAVID HOLMES JOIN HIGH FIDELITY REBOOT: The reboot of Nick Hornby’s High Fidelity has welcomed two new recruits, Da’Vine Joy Randolph (On Becoming a God in Central Florida) and David Holmes (The Hill), joining Zoe Kravitz and Jake Lacy. The series recently moved from Disney+ to Hulu.
