Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is facing deportation. A rep for the Executive Office for Immigration Review told Page Six on Thursday that “the Board of Immigration Appeals dismissed Giuseppe Giudice’s case appeal on April 11, 2019. In dismissing the case, the BIA affirmed the immigration judge’s decision of removal dated Oct. 10, 2018.”
The Giudice family is “extremely disappointed” with the decision and plans to appeal, family attorney James J. Leonard told Page Six.
“We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters,” he said.
Joe is married to Teresa Giudice, with whom he shares Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. Teresa previously said that she would divorce Joe, whom she married in 1999, if he got deported. They both served time in federal prison for tax fraud, but only Joe, who is not a U.S. citizen, can be deported.
According to E!, Teresa is taking it in stride.
“She is extremely loyal and even when she probably should have divorced him before, she didn't,” the insider adds. “Now it's like the decision might be made for her.”
