Johnny Depp maintains that the evidence his ex-wife Amber Heard is submitting that she claims proves he abused her, does just the opposite.

Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, tells The Blast, “Having been caught by 19 sworn eyewitness statements, 87 surveillance videotapes, audio tape and photographs faking her claims, Ms. Heard has decided to concoct new fake claims of abuse.”

Heard’s video deposition, which his team calls a “hoax,” was filed in response to Depp filing a $50 million defamation suit against her. (He filed that, ICYMI, in response to an op-ed about domestic abuse that she wrote for The Washington Post).

The video shows Heard claiming that Depp grabbed her by the hair and threw her around, before targeting her sister. She admitted she struck him, but claimed that she only did it to prevent Depp from killer her sister. She also submitted photos of their destroyed post-fight apartment.

Waldman tells The Blast: “Yet 25 minutes after the horrific scene described by Ms. Heard and her two friends, two police officers, male and female, trained in domestic abuse and responding to a domestic abuse call observed and interviewed Ms. Heard twice and performed two security sweeps of the entire premises.”

Waldman also points to LAPD Officer Melissa Saenz’s testimony after she responded to the incident:

“Q: Did you see any marks of any kind on her face at all?

A: No, I did not.

Q: Did you see any signs of swelling or injury to her face at all?

A: No, I did not.

Q: Okay, did you see any bruises or marks under either eye?

A: No, I did not.

Q: Did you see any bruising or marks on either of her cheeks?

A: No, I did not.”

Waldman also adds that a security tape of the premises appears to show Heard with no marks on her face three days after the fight.
