Kylie Jenner, 21, is worth almost $1 billion; the Kylie Cosmetics mogul sat down with Paper to discuss the fortune she says she built herself, plus the incessant plastic surgery and engagement rumors swirling around her.
Jenner dismisses the notion that her famous family helped her build her fortune.
“My parents told me I needed to make my own money, it’s time to learn how to save and spend your own money, stuff like that,” Jenner says, adding that parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner “cut her off at the age of 15.”
Jenner insists: “The self-made thing is true.”
Of welcoming Stormi, who turned 1 on February 1st with boyfriend Travis Scott: “It’s genuinely what I wanted… to be a young mom. I thought, ‘This I what I want to do, and if people accept it or don’t accept it then I’m okay with every outcome.'”
ON PLASTIC SURGERY
She says she’d never consider real plastic surgery: “People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.”
ON BEING ENGAGED
While she and Scott have been stoking engagement rumors (she’s been spotted wearing a honking diamond on her ring finger), she says it just isn’t true (YET).
“I’ll let everybody know,” she says.
