Looking for photos of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold’s wedding day? Well, you’ll have to go outside of typical wedding sites like Pinterest and The Knot. These websites have announced that they are no longer publishing pictures of weddings that took place on plantations. In a move that has been both controversial and praise worthy, the decision was made based on the fact that these spots have historically been used for slave labor.

Civil Rights group Color of Change commented on the issue, saying “Plantations are physical reminders of one of the most horrific human rights abuses the world has ever seen.” In light of this movement, many websites have distanced themselves from photographs that are taken on plantations. Lively and Reynold were married at the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston in 2012.
