Aerosmith just rolled out the dates to its upcoming 13-country European tour. The band, which will be performing its “Deuces Are Wild” Las Vegas residency shows in January and February, will play a total of 14 shows throughout June and July. Boston's bad boys will hit Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Poland, England, Denmark, Hungary, and Germany.

Aerosmith will be the recipients of the 2020 'MusiCares Person of The Year.' The band's salute will take place on January 24th in Los Angeles — two nights before the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Last year's recipient was Dolly Parton, with Fleetwood Mac becoming the first band, rather than a solo artist, to receive the honor in 2018. Proceeds from the annual benefit gala will provide essential support for MusiCares, “which ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.”

Joe Perry recently explained to us that early on he realized that Aerosmith provided a very specific thing for rock fans: “I always felt after the first generation went around and we started seein' the audience change from being our age to the next, I realized that we had to stick to our guns and it wasn't gonna be any, like, I mean all of a sudden punk is there, or disco, or whatever. Does that mean we gotta change our whole thing? It was kinda, like, 'We're gonna do our stuff.' I mean the first time was saw Kiss, we saw Kiss go down in the most amazing way. The audience loved 'em. So, we just stuck to our guns and kept writing songs and turned the guitars up.”
