Jon Bon Jovi's 15-acre Middletown, New Jersey estate has been put on the market via Christie’s International Real Estate for an undisclosed sum. The RealDeal.com posted, “The 18,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a 50-foot wide living room with 12-foot high ceilings, a grand fireplace, custom-designed parquet flooring, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and a heated three-car garage.”
In addition to that, the property includes four outbuildings, one of which is a carriage house that has three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The estate also includes a private pub — named “The Shoe Inn,” a private recording studio, and seven double-door garages.
In 2018 Bon Jovi dropped a cool $10 million to buy a five-bedroom oceanfront home in Palm Beach, Florida only months after unloading his Manhattan duplex for $16 million.
When recently asked about the highlight of his career, Jon Bon Jovi gave an insightful and honest answer: “That answer's changed in the last 30 years. There was, y'know, the first time you're driving in your car and you hear your song on the radio, you wanna go fast and get pulled over so you can tell the cop, 'Look that's me!' (Laughs) To a point where you would turn it off, because, 'alright enough, already' — to then, real true appreciation when you realize it wasn't one, or two, or five, or even 10 albums; there was a body of work. When you start talking about an honest to God body of work, then you realize how it's become, y'know, a patchwork of American pop culture and you're pretty proud of it. There's a lot of people that've sung those songs for a lot of years.”
Bon Jovi performs tonight (July 10th) in Zurich, Switzerland.
